In addition to providing homeless LGBTQ+ youth with winter garments, we provide them with the opportunity to learn to knit and crochet for themselves. Our community outreach program partners with other nonprofits in NYC to provide classes, workshops, and coaching for at-risk youth so they can learn sustainable living techniques like clothing design and creation.
If you are interested in teaching beginner classes to the youth we serve please send us an email at email@example.com and we will add you to our teaching listserv.
Our Community Outreach program also houses our Stitch and Sip events where we bring together crafters and those who want to learn to craft in the New York City area. Follow us on social media or subscribe to our monthly newsletter to find out when the next Stitch and Sip is happening!
